About Eric

A licensed therapist and graduate from Columbia University School of Social Work, I specialize in child and adolescent development and have spent over 10 years practicing principles for crisis intervention, trauma response, and counseling. My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and guided by a neurodivergent-affirming, LGBTQIA+ affirming and anti-racist lens.

My strengths-based approach empowers young minds and their caregivers to:

  • Understand their inner world: Gain insight into one’s unique struggles and emotional landscape.

  • Develop healthy coping skills: Manage stress, anxiety, and difficult emotions in a personalized way that works.

  • Build confidence and self-esteem: Embrace talents and find one’s voice.

  • Navigate difficult social situations: Foster healthy communication and build meaningful connections.

  • Thrive in positive relationships: Strengthen bonds with friends, family, and romantic partners.
